¡Hola familia y amigos!
¿Como estan? Estoy muy animado porque ahora yo se que estoy saliendo al 19 Enero, no el 12 Enero. Esto es bien porque necesito mucho mas pratique con mi español.
Sí, yo hablaba mucho con Élder Kent Johnson ayer. Él es un hombre muy cheke (honduran slang for cool).
Estoy muy felic ahora porque mi distrito hable solo español por la reste de mi tiempo en el CCM (MTC). Me gusta español mucho, tiene mucho mas sensibilidad que íngles.
No tengo mucho tiempo a escribir, asi voy escribir en íngles, pero lo senti a mi como un pecado.
Anyway, things here are great. In the last week... we've done a lot of work. I'm getting good at teaching lessons, and we're working really hard. The appointments in the RC fell through unfortunately, apparently that happens a lot.
Grandma and Grandpa Green, I got the calendar and the letter and I just wanted to say thank you. I love the pictures in that, it's really cool. Thanks for your support and prayers. I hope things are still going well with you at the Bountiful Temple. Much love to both of you!
Grandma and Grandpa Thorstensen, I got your letters and I really enjoyed reading them, it sounds like things are proceeding well with you two, and I hope things continue to go better. Also, Thank you for everything, all the support I feel from you and prayers.
Daddy, as I stated up in the Spanish, yup me and Kent had a good chance to talk. We couldn't stay up late on New Years but we had fun. I was sad though because when I opened the pumpkin bread.. it was moldy. :( But you guys have no idea how much I appreciated it. It was nice to have something to look forward to as part of the week.
For the past little while I've been working on exactness in obedience. I heard a quote, but I don't know by who and how exactly it was phrased, but it said something to the effect of "when obedience ceases to be an irritant, and instead becomes your goal, in that moment of decision are you endowed with great power from on high."
I like that a lot. I've always obeyed because I knew I needed to, and that kinda brings the point home: we should obey because we want to. We want to be exactly like God in heaven, and if that's the case then we have to follow the same rules He does.
I love all of you. I'm so grateful for all my friends and the support I feel from all of you. My friends and family are all very big parts of my life and I know that I wouldn't be able to make the progress that I am without the love that I feel from all of you and for all of you. Because that's the main center of God and Christ's Gospel: Love and Charity.
Hey friends, I have a few but not nearly all of your addresses... The guys in the ward I can get pretty easy, but anyone who wants to talk or write besides that needs to write me first because I can't get everyone easy.
I know that this Gospel is the fully restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ is the head of this church and it is under His divine guidance that Thomas S. Monson acts. I have a great love for this work and for the people whom I will soon be serving. I hope that everyone is doing well and I hope to hear from you.
