Chicago!

Hola Familia y Amigos,
¿Como están? Alrighty I'm going to speak in English now because Spanish takes a while.
How's things? I'm having a great time. Counting down like crazy now, we only have 4 real days left in the MTC. I will be getting up at 4, being at the bus by 5 and being on a plane by 8:55AM on tuesday the 19th. Rylee and Bryce, you have my permission to stay home from school for first period (and second if needs be) because I will be calling home before getting on the plane, sometime between 7 and 8:30am. Yes that's early, but hey I'd like to talk to you all. Sorry if that wakes mom up ;)
So... I wrote everyone last week. However, I seem to have forgotten to put stamps on said letters. Which means that unless you have received them by miracle, they are wandering somewhere in that endless space we call the Post. So Eric, Trevor, Mitch, Mom and Dad, Rylee, Bryce... I think Mike too, if you don't receive them, lo siento. Mike I'll write you another one today because I think I might've forgotten to and I want to.
Went to the temple today. I did an endowment session and then we got the chance to go do some service in the laundry room. It was really neat to be able to do an ordinance and then go serve, because really that is what this calling is all about.
Speaking of service, we got to be hosts again yesterday for new missionaries. I got to see some familiar faces including: Kye Kunz, Koji ... (I can't spell his last name), and a bunch of others. Elder Tibbits and Elder McNeil are in my zone, also from my school. It's been really cool to see how many people from davis high are serving faithfully. In my time here I think I've probably seen about a hundred davis kids.
Tyler Abbott. If you read this I would really like your address. I have a letter for you that I have written but that I can't send because I don't know where to send it to.
My parents, if he doesn't know to read this, would you just DearElder.com it to me tonight please? Mucho gusto. Also, I don't seem to have Mitch's actual address so I had to send his letter to Gern. So if you could get that one and any other addresses that I don't have that would like correspondance, I would appreciate it.
Once I'm out in the field I should have more time to write and read e-mails so if you want to, feel free to e-mail me, anyone, any time. My dear friends, I understand that pen and paper are foreign objects, so this way I've simplified it for all of you! Yay e-mail.
Tuesday we heard again from L. Tom Perry. He is an incredible teacher. He taught Us the First Lesson. It was so cool and powerful to hear the message of the restoration firsthand from an Apostle of God. His testimony was so powerful. To quote he said, "No man leads this Church," and simply, "God, Lives."
I know both of those statements to be true. Yesterday due to a seminar for new MTC Presidents, I happened to bump into someone on his way to teach. Elder Holland! I know that he came and talked to us on Thanksgiving, but this time I actually got to talk to him and see him face to face. It was awesome!
A couple of statements that I have really sunk into my soul lately are these:
In speaking of submitting to God's will - "You can't be the salt of the earth, if you're pepper."
"Humility is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of the greatest strength a man can have."
"Few things in this world are quite so tangible and lasting as God's love for each of us."
"Everyone has needs, the needs of one are often different from those of another. However, the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has the answers for every need."
I love you all a lot. Thank you so much for the support.
Con Amor,
Elder Jordan Green
