News from the Mission Front

Hola!

Okay so recount of this last week. Things are going really well here in Bloomingdale Illinois. We had a special meeting with some people at the MTC who came and gave us some instruction, it wasn't mindblowing or crazy, it was simply reemphasizing the basics. Now while it wasn't mindblowing, it was great, and I learned a lot. They showed us a lot concerning setting baptismal dates early on and our missionary purpose. It was really cool. We also had a Zone Meeting on Listening and communication, which went really well. Our missionary work and efforts have been... slow. We've been working really hard and doing all that we can, but we're going through a dry spell where there aren't a whole lot of investigators or potentials, so we're trying our best to find them. We know they're out there, we just need "a trial of faith". I know God will bless us with them soon enough, because we are being obedient, faithful missionaries. We taught our investigator Luis this past monday and are really hoping that he comes to General Conference this weekend. Him and his parents are all invited so we'd like to see him there. He's really our only solid weekly investigator right now. We are also teaching a man named Fortino. If he would just accept a baptismal date and follow the Word of Wisdom, we'd baptize him.

My companion and I are really hungry. We're going out to eat after this. Jimmy John's.

Wow I'm really sorry but it seems my letters keep getting really short this week and last week. But really not a whole ton has happened. We've just been walking, a lot.

Okay well, time to walk to Jewel Osco!

Love,

Elder Green.
