Hey guys, it's Elder Green!

Hey everyone!

The area is good. We're seeing some success again. God has helped us out a lot lately.

I never get bored of going downtown! Even if we just see the people, they're so funny you just gotta fall in love with the place. It's the biggest little town in the world! It is a major city but it feels like a small town in that everyone seems to know someone and even the bus drivers recognize the missionaries. We got on the bus the other day and the driver said, "Oh, no bikes for you boys today? Well I don't blame you, it's bitter cold out there. Can you believe when I got on my shift at 5:00 this morning some crazy was riding his bike? I tell you..." It was so cool, so I sat and talked to him for a while. Then this lady offered us some gum and joined in the conversation. I love Chicago. When we go downtown there's always a new adventure. We found this awesome popcorn shop at a corner, visit Navy Pier, watch crazy asians do a tiny rally, go to museums, go bowling, walk around all the touristy sights, stare in amazement at the height of the Hancock, go shopping at Shops at North Bridge, which is part of the Mag Mile. We sit in the food court there which is really high-tech and really kinda feels like a lounge.. Then there's this bowling lounge that's really fun... Lots of cool stuff to do.
