April 20

Hey everyone it's me!
Today is April 20th and you know what that means? It's Paige's birthday! YAY! Happy Birthday Paige!
It's also my comp's 6 month mark. We're going to go to a sports complex today and play with the whole zone and that will be fun. I'm really excited to get to see everyone. Plus we're going to eat at the Outback (we have gift cards). Cool huh? So what else has happened this week....?

Well so we got a new investigator family this week named the familia De La Rosa. This family is a very nice mother with three children. The son (whose name for some reason I can't remember) is a punk. He is 18 and says he wants nothing to do with religion, he doesn't care about his family, his life or really anything, and he hates everyone. He's a lovely person. With a really foul mouth. Teaching him was... an experience. However, as we were teaching him I was reminded very distinctly of how I had been at the age of 17. It was a lesson that I won't soon forget. In teaching and talking to him he brought to my recollection how misled and depressed and confused I had been before I got help. It was kind of weird seeing someone who almost recited word for word things that I had once said in my confused teenage state. It seemed rather sad. I gained a new appreciation for what you all did for me in sending me to Life-Line and all the people that supported me all throughout.

So we also got back in contact with our investigator Elizabeth Luna. That was great!

Sorry to be too brief but duty calls!

Bye bye!
