This week

Dear Family,

Here is the news:
We are currently working with a few investigators who are close to being baptized. We have Cesar and Julio Flores, sons of Maria Flores, who are taking the lessons, and simply need to have a little push in the right direction. They are good kids with good desires but they don't understand the need to be baptized very well, so we have tried to emphasize that and they have said that they will pray about it and we will fix a baptismal date with them next time we meet. We also are meeting with Mareli Ramirez who is the sister of Flor and Alma. She has a lot of promise and is really interested to know if it is the truth. We are going to be giving her a baptismal date soon as well. Also, Mario de Leon was a referral we got from Salt Lake and he is really golden. We are meeting with him and he is trying to put his life in order with what God wants of him. He is going to come to church on sunday and is really searching. We have taught him the first lesson and we plan on teaching the second soon. We taught our investigator Oscar about the Law of Chastity and tithing, which was received well. He wants to get baptized this month, but is reluctant to set a date, so we're trying with him.

We are also working with the Ramirez family to make sure they are staying active. Recently they have started working with a particular company that is preventing them from coming to church some sundays, so I'm trying to stress to them the importance of the sabbath day.

We are really doing well in this area and I'm really enjoying the work here! I hope I get to stay a few more transfers!
